As always, the perpetually ass-fucking celebrity news site (that would have me crapping in my boots if I were a celeb type), TMZ.com, were the first and only site to actually acquire/ leak pictures of Rihanna, post her Chris Brown beat down.
I will NOT be posting the pics here. I don’t need the Blog Popo arresting me over that shit. I just now the pics leaked and if anyone fancies crying into their dinner over how effing sad the pic is/ fancies just being macabre for a moment the picture of Rihanna’s bruised face can be seen here.
The pictures were fairy fucking obviously leaked unofficially. The images are related to a suspected domestic violence case and the LAPD give the sense it is generally not the best idea to leak these pictures, sway the masses and potentially screw Rihanna’s case if this ever goes to trial – from what I gather, Brown’s camp can argue a jury saw the pics and made up their mind he was guilty before even trying the case (correct me if I’m wrong).
According to E! Online the LAPD are pissed that potentially one of their own sold the pics.
“The Los Angeles Police Department takes seriously its duty to maintain the confidentiality of victims of domestic violence,” read a statement issued tonight by the LAPD, which has yet to publicly identify Rihanna as the alleged victim in Brown’s case.
“A violation of this type is considered serious misconduct, with penalties up to and including termination.” They continued.
