Lance Armstrong did a bunch of drugs, won a bunch of races, perjured himself over and over, waited for the statute of limitations to expire on a bunch of crimes, and then told Oprah all about it. And Oprah got more out of Armstrong in one interview than federal bodies got out of the former cyclist in over 10 years because you can lie to the police but you better not lie to Oprah. Except that’s exactly what Armstrong did. Which means someone, somewhere is probably putting a hit on the former sportsman right now. According to the same investigators who have been calling Armstrong a lying liar who tells lies for a decade, he lied right to Oprah’s face when he claimed that the last time he doped during a race was in 2005. Investigators tell ABC News that Armstrong is lying about doping through 2009 and 2010 to protect himself from criminal charges where the statute of limitations have not yet expired. And another agency says he lied to Oprah about ‘having no knowledge’ of his team donating $250,000 to anti-doping authorities. The former head of the agency told the AP, Armstrong’s team offered the dirty money but were turned down.
