I think the video is pretty provocative. But I don’t believe it’s to the point that it should be banned. She doesn’t actually show anything to the camera. Yeah, the back up dancers saw, but will anyone else see what they saw when they watch the video? No. Now, if the video displayed full frontal nudity like Bjork’s videos for Cocoon or Pagan Poetry, that would be a different story.

I completely agree, the substitute song is too weak to make an impact and as such she has ruined her chances of follow up chart success. She should have had some guts and risked the release. “Love, Sex, Magic” plays on TV here and no one bats an eyelid!

How is this banned? god i’ve seen worse on the tv screens! sorry but sex is exploited far too much now anyway so i think this is quite weak to what i’ve seen!

This number would’ve gone to number 1 in the UK, and i agree with many of the comments above, the paparazzi song won’t reach the top 10 seeing as though its so boring!

Hi Dan, thanks for leaving a comment. You have a point, I guess, but in the UK, the law states all in video advertising where the brand can be covered should be blurred or masked in some way. US artists are being tacky and trying to circumvent advertising laws. Easy enough to fix and not worth banning a video for.

I’ve seen the video and I absolutely agree with the comments. LoveGame is a kick-ass song that proves of another #1 for GaGa. For Christ’s sake, their are MYRIADS of Rap/Hip Hop songs that often show something about sex, cursing and often objectionable images showing sexy girls rubbing their arses, making out etc.

I’m not liking “Paparazzi” for the UK at all. Maybe she could release “Money Honey”, it kinda has some kind of the same feel as LoveGame.

I honestly and genuinely believe in GaGa’s artistry and she’s just overflowing with talent and I’m betting if “LoveGame” will be released, it will go straight to #1.
