Lady GaGa says that she makes such dramatic statements with her fashion in order to become distinct from British singer, Amy Winehouse.
The US singer also mentioned that her crunchy over-processed locks were the subject of a transformation as she has naturally quite dark brown hair. GaGa says that one interviewer came off his meds and confused the Poker Face singer with Cracky McWino.
The 23-year-old singer was upset when an interviewer once spoke to her for five minutes thinking she was the wrecked 26-year-old British brunette. “Amy is a badass but I want to be known for my own look,” Lady Gaga told The Sun newspaper in the UK. (via The Daily Telegraph Au)

I am guessing this guy was probably high… GaGa is like 5ft 2 and with the hive Wino is about 6ft 2.
