Lady GaGa covers and gave an interview with the latest issue of Billboard.
The Billboard issue hit stands August 7, 2009 and shows a heavily photoshopped diva with a head of purple hair.
GaGa has been in the news a heck of a lot lately, despite not having anything in particular to promote. Have to be honest, that annoys the crap outta me and is the reason I don’t support people like Lindsay Lohan. If you’re not working on any new projects or are not gearing up to promote something get outta my face. If you insist on being so blatanty manufactured and in the press at every given minute of the day, at least have the good grace to be a little more interesting.
Despite her dominance on the Billboard Hot 100 and bleached blonde hair, GaGa is not the average pop tart. She’s an accomplished songwriter and performer who seems to have come out of nowhere, bursting from the corner of Ludlow and Rivington fully formed and fabulous. In conversation, she’s chatty and articulate, but gives off the distinct sense she’s 10 steps ahead of everyone else-while the Internet is still buzzing about the lampshade she wore over her face in a TV interview, she’s plotting her next move.
Of course, if she invests wisely, she may never need to work again: Her debut album, “The Fame,” which was released on Interscope, has sold nearly 1.3 million copies, and her biggest digital single, “Just Dance,” has sold 4.4 million copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. In addition to writing all the tracks on her album, GaGa has previously written for Fergie, the Pussycat Dolls, Britney Spears and New Kids on the Block. “Getting into writing for others happened naturally, because at the time, I didn’t have a record deal,” GaGa says. “I had a deal with IDJ that came and went, but that was it. I don’t have an ego about other people singing my songs.” (via Billboard)

I know right… no one is safe from the pop bubble bursting. Anyone can be boring. Waving around crazy outfits in lieu of a new single is not going to fool anybody.
althught she’s grown on me and all, I’m with you, step away from the limelight unless you’re pimping something. There is such a thing as too much. Going away for even a couple weeks works wonders…lol
I never noticed it beofre, becuse she’s usually all boggled down in weird clothing and caked on makeup with alien sunglasses or something, but doesn’t look half bad. Maybe she should shock all her fan by doing a “normal” photo sometime…lol

I like her music, but she needs to stop being weird for the sake of being weird, as Mystery Man said, she needs to take a day off. It must be exhausting to have to wear a different costume everyday.
She’s probably one of those celebs that never wear the same outfit twice. What if she gave all her old clothes to charity? we’d have some really fashionable bums, that’s fo’ sho’!
We should start a petition and hand it to the proper authorities. She does need to take a musical timeout and give us all a break. I’ve seen her sport the same clothes several times over – so no stylish bums will get to wear them just yet.
