Lady GaGa ‘Poker Face’ American Idol: video 1st April (4/1/09)
Lady GaGa appeared on last night’s American Idol (4/1/09) and performed her single ‘Poker Face’.
Be sure to check it out… I did and I am loving her. Ok, I admit that I cried all the way through, as I really hoped GaGa would wear her fierce bubble outfit. Sadly she did not.
The dancers/ dancing and costumes were still fierce though.

Maybe I’m getting old but I wasn’t impressed with her at all, if this is number one then what must the rest of the chart be like?
I am loving The GaGa, the rest of the charts are utter cow poop… you’re not missing anything!
honestly, i wasn’t impressed, buit the piano looked cool, and i do like the song, just not her performance.
she needs to tell where she got a piano fuill of balloons…maybe veen buy me one…hehehe

She is original, no one like her. That alone is pretty fucking amazing, if you think about it O_o
I haven’t seen much of her (haven’t seen much of anything these few weeks, to be honest) but one thing I do notice, and appreciate, about her – y’all correct me if I’m wrong:
No matter how over-the-top and miniscule her outfits are, she seems to always present a lady-like demeanor – even in the bubble outfit. Compare/contrast Paris Hilton, who could make a nun’s habit look skeevy because she’d be standing with her feet spread wide and her shoulders/back arched in the “here’s my boobs and ass, aren’t they nice” position. Lady GaGa’s photos (the ones I’ve seen, at least) all seem to show her with her legs demurely and tightly CLOSED, even when she’s on stage performing, instead of the “I’m ready for my PAP smear” pose that you usually see for, say Britney Spears or Madonna.
For that alone, I’m predisposed to like her – and that “Poker Face” song only makes it that much better.
Again, I might be wrong; the photos Amy linked to at the “bubble outfit” link might be the exception to the rule. I haven’t seen many of her pictures and haven’t watched the videos, but what I *HAVE* seen of her has always made me go, “Wow, that’s a very reserved, prim pose for such a revealing and skimpy outfit.” And that’s a good thing.

She does seem to keep any wild tendencies at home and conduct herself in a far more respectable manner than her peers. I am yet to really see her falling out of a club drunk, or flash her goodies to the waiting paparazzi. That is kind of a given these days.
Lady GaGa is not perfect by any means and acts provocatively sometimes, but for the most part even that I can forgive, as she is so damn talented!
