When Rupert Sanders got caught going down on Kristen Stewart in her Mini Cooper in public, it was assumed he would be fired from directing the Snow White & The Huntsman sequel because Stewart was under contract to return to the film whereas Sander was not. The Hollywood Reporter claimed Universal was all ‘Meh’ and wanted Sanders back anyway. But this morning, in a follow-up story, THR says Stewart has been fired from life and SWATH 2 will become a Huntsman spin-off starring Chris Hemsworth. Moreover, says THR, ‘Kristen Stewart will not be invited to return if the follow-up goes forward.’ It’s not known whether Sanders will direct Hemsworth. Universal hasn’t exactly come out to defend Stewart this afternoon, but the studio tells the L.A. Times Stewart’s Snow White ‘could still be a character in the film.’ Which is barely a rebuttal.

Bizarre. I can’t see a movie all about the huntsman being very interesting. Maybe he’ll raise a barn and put on a show!
…shirtless.
heheh
I would watch Chris Hemsworth be Chris Hemsworth for an hour and a half. He’s baberiffic. Kristen Stewart is alright, I suppose, but I wasn’t crazy over her as Snow White in the first place.
This is BS….wherever did you get this “scoop”? The movie made so much money that the sequel will be made with the main characters (original director not needed). A movie about the huntsman wouldn’t be interesting at all and it wouldn’t be following the original storyline. Try and sell this story to Star magazine!
If you (even skim)read the post, it says a couple of times, “The Hollywood Reporter.”
What does “fired from life” mean in this context? It’s not made any clearer in the body of the article…
It’s just me being whimsical and sardonic. It’s just how I address dramatic firings of this kind. Or when someone’s maligned by peers for something they did wrong.
