Kristen Stewart Forgave Herself After Watching ‘Eat, Pray, Love’

It would seem apparent that Kristen Stewart staged (had her people phone around and make arrangements about) this week’s post-scandal paparazzi photos with the same paparazzi agency who outed her as a cheater in the first place. And it would appear she’s trying to return to work, slowly. And it would seem her people are also planting stories about how she’s sad and subsisting on cigarettes and Red Bull even though she looks decidedly healthier and plumper of cheek than Robert Pattinson who had obviously lost weight over the same period of time. Not that it matters, I guess. The most laboured in a series of reports claims Stewart ‘isn’t sleeping and she stays up all night crying, she’s close to a total meltdown.’ In another Sad Kristen Stewart story today, it’s claimed is trying to forgive herself for cheating on her longterm boyfriend with a married man (by whom I’m grossed out the more I think about it, bedding your ingenue, really?!)

A source says today: ‘Kristen is trying to find some inner peace within herself and she is reading a lot. She has always been interested in philosophy and spirituality and she has been reading a lot of different books. Strangely enough, the one author that has really been resonating with her is Gandhi, who she decided to find out more about after watching Eat, Pray, Love. She began reading a biography of his life, then turned to Gandhi’s own writing because she was seeking solace. The quote that particularly stands out for her is, ‘The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.’ While she doesn’t know if Rob could forgive her, that statement has tempered her own regret. The remorse she has isn’t completely gone, but Gandhi’s words have certainly helped her find peace with the whole situation. Kristen isn’t beating herself up over it, she’s accepted that everyone makes mistakes and she has to learn from it.’
