Denying that the tape was her brainchild, that she directed or produced it, or that she demanded re-shoots because the first money shots weren’t pretty enough, this week’s Star Magazine alleges that Kris Jenner brokered a tape that ‘already existed’ pushing that tape to market. So, yes, the family was faking its way through Oprah’s two hour career backslide, offering glib contrition that ‘nobody’s perfect’ or whatever. So desperate was Jenner to launch her daughter’s career, so myopic, Jenner was reportedly thrilled at the famewhore name for the tape ‘Kim Kardashian Superstar.’ Really. A source says: ‘That must have thrilled Kris since you could hardly call Kim a household name at that point in time,’ adding, ‘Kris was totally involved in arranging the sale of Kim’s tape. The video already existed and Kris was there every step of the way as a middleman brought in to market it to an adult entertainment company. I saw Kris Jenner’s signature on the contract. I believe she got somewhere between $250,000 and $500,000 for the original deal with the middleman. Everything she does in this world, every decision she makes on her daughters’ behalf, is based on greed and publicity. And has nothing to do with her family’s stability or happiness.’
