Katie Price, better known by her modelling name Jordan, is accusing soon-to-be ex-husband Peter Andre of being after her money.
The allegations come as Price reveals that she and her departed ex-mate are still not technically divorced. The two parted earlier in the year, and yet they are still legally married. They wish to part, however, according to Price, Andre is clinging on a little because as he may want to get more post-split money.
Price was the breadwinner, throughout the marriage, and she quite drastically out-earned Andre. She claims that she has tried to contact Andre and ask his motives for dragging his heels. The pair do have a pre-nup, but there are suspicions that Andre is seeking to challenge it. This could be because some of the earnings during their marriage were from their joint TV show.

The glamour girl makes the attack when Graham Norton [a TV host] points out that she is not technically divorced to the Aussie singer [...]. She says, “Do you want to know the truth why we’re not divorced? It’s because it looks like Pete’s still after my money. I texted him the other day and said, are you sticking to the pre-nup or are you after my money?”
The first stage of the pair’s quickie divorce came through last month. But in a swipe at the reality TV star, Graham says, “And you thought texting was an appropriate way to handle that?” Jordan, real name Katie Price, comes back with, “But he won’t talk to me, I swear on my kids’ life.” (via The Sun)

Much as I dislike her, I pretty much believe her. He hasn’t done anything but be Mr. Katie Price since they wed. Before that, he was relying on reality shows and Chris Moyles for cash.
He spent the whole marriage trying to launch his fail music career – the way she said it was trash and the BBC, on which this was taped, had to cut this out of the broadcast. However I think she may be correct about the underlying issue.
