Katie Holmes, Josh Duhamel, Adam Brody, and a bunch of people I don’t know (Malin Akerman, Rebecca Lawrence, and Jeremy Strong), from forthcoming movie The Romantics, feature in the Fall 2010 J.Crew ads. The clothes are pretty uninspired, as are the adverts themselves. It’s really just an excuse to shoot pretty, smiling, people and the clothing itself is (of course) secondary. Holmes and Duhamel are the hottest couple that never were, in the picture with just them. They need to mindlessly wreck their respective homes and hook up, already. More J.
