Katie Holmes is now, and in my opinion always has been, very pretty. However, she does often look like the faulty model from the assembly line that needs to be over-packed in a ridiculously oversize box and sent back to the manufacturer, STAT. Holmes attended The Extra Man movie premiere held at the Village East Cinema in New York City, New York July 19, 2010… dressed like this. I can’t work out whether she was unpacked in someone’s grandma’s jammies or she stole this off some college student. It’s the weirdest thing. It’s like, a dress, but she still looks like she needs to put on some pants. Yeah, needs more pants. I was less distracted by the outfit and the attempt at a cute hairdo (not bad, at all), than her old lady shoes. They’re president’s wife shoes. Really, Holmes?

The shoes are by Roger Vivier. Sorry — stripper platform may still be for sale at the local mall, but fashion-wise they’re already dunzo. Believe it or not Katie’s “president’s wife” shoes are where it’s at.
