Kate Hudson on Harper’s Bazaar January 2010

Kate Hudson is the cover girl for the Harper’s Bazaar January 2010 issue.

The actress is beautiful and her cute, sun-kissed looks are in her genes. So one wonders why she looks like she’s been smacked around the face with A-Rod’s Photoshop-glitter-filled-peen for this cover. It seems to be an old photograph smeared with the tears of 10 of MooMoo Carey’s confiscated white kittens. Either that or the issue has the power to smear Vaseline on your eyeballs, as you look at each of the the photos, so they all appear to be in soft focus.

Kate Hudson talks tabloids: “If I walk out on the street with any man, I’m dating him. I’ve been dating two of my best friends from high school who are like girls to me … I’m not going to hide going to breakfast.”
Kate on her son Ryder: “I’m a pretty strict mom, which is funny,” Kate says. “I didn’t think I’d be so strict. I feel like he is so great, he’s such a good kid, people really connect with him, they want to give him things and do things for him, and I’m like no. The next thing you know, you have the kid who’s being cute in order to get something.”
On ex-huband Chris Robinson: “Chris is a great dad. I feel really lucky,” she said. “When we first met, it was so immediate. I had no question in my mind I was supposed to marry him and have children with him.”
