Justin Timberlake ‘The Phone’ New TV Show

“The Phone” — Trailer. ”The Phone” premieres on April 21 at 10pm on MTV.

Justin Timberlake has decided it is not quite enough fun bending up Ciara like a pretzel in her new music video, and that he is eager to find ways of exploiting people on TV too.

Timberlake is the Executive Producer of a new reality TV game show, called ‘The Phone’.

The gist of the long ass/ over-thought-out premise to the show, is that two phones will be placed at opposite ends of a major metropolitan city. Once answered and assuming the people at the other end of the line have no jobs/ too much time on their hands, the contestants race against the clock and communicate by phone, to complete their challenge (hmm…. anyone else sensing an excuse for mobile phone/ phone network product placement?).

According to MTV, which will premiere Timberlake’s The Phone on April 21 at 10 p.m., the tasks range from “hanging off the edge of Seattle’s Space Needle to racing into a burning building to save a man’s life.”

I’ll be too busy bathing in chocolate/ cuddling kittens/ blowing my nose to watch this, I think. Will you be watching?

Not sure what to think of this show…kinda looks like Timberlake’s attempt to make his own version of Punk’d/The Amazing RAce/Speed

    1. They should change it to ‘R’TV for reality or ‘S’ for shitty or something, would be more fitting. Also, I could not make it al the way thought the trailer as it looked so dire.

I’ll have to watch an episode or two before I decide if I’ll watch it. JT needs to have a pretty big role in this show though if he wants it to be successful, me thinks.

    1. I do that sometimes, but I am sucha retarded sucker that I can get sucked in and keep watching even a really shitty show (the only reason I ever watched The Hills).
