Justin Timberlake & Jessica Biel Moving On

There are a whole bunch of reports this weekend about how former-couple Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are moving on after the end of their four-year-long on/off relationship. Most of the reports centre around three things 1) Jessica Biel being photographed out for the first time since the break-up was confirmed 2) The break-up between the couple was ‘mutual,’ as several sources tell People in what reads as an essay about the relationship between the two 3) Justin Timberlake wants to date Mila Kunis, rather than Olivia Munn, post the split, though he’d reportedly been flirting with both the entire relationship with Biel, about which a source for People clarifies, Biel ‘looked the other way’ when it came to her boyfriend ‘cheating.’ I don’t think he cheated, for the record, as there’s no proof and nothing more substantial than the word of sources who don’t really know about what they’re talking being outside of the relationship. But, they do give a little context as to why they broke up and what they’re doing now they’re single. So take the quotes with a grain of salt. TMZ.com and others have the first pictures of a newly-single Biel enjoying a night out in Los Angeles this weekend. She’s fresh-faced, happy-looking, and is notably more dolled-up than on some nights out with Timberlake. The 29-year-old smiled for photographers as she exited Hollywood diner Cafe Entourage, where she celebrated her brother Justin Biel’s birthday (the name thing isn’t creepy at all, nor was it when Kim Kardashian started dating someone with the same name as her mother). Several sources spoke to People, with more quotes than I can reproduce here, talking about how Biel and Timberlake ‘wanted different things.’

‘[The split] really was mutual,’ says a source. ‘There really wasn’t a final straw. They’re just two people who realized they wanted different things in life and were headed in different directions [and] it was just easier to end it now rather than later.’ They add, ‘There was never any proof [of Timberlake cheating]. When you’re in a relationship, you have to choose to believe the person or get out.’ Post-split Timberlake is said to be pursuing Mila Kunis, with whom he worked last year while she was dating Macaulay Culkin. Timberlake and Kunis, with her being single at the time, were said to ‘pretty inseparable,’ as ‘friends,’ at an afterparty for the Screen Actors Guild Awards and some other awards/ events. Another source tells E!, ‘Justin is very interested in Mila. ‘They’ve been flirting, but so far nothing has happened.’ Pictures of the ex-couple are below.
