My future husband/ the man I keep tied up in my basement, Josh ‘Hairnett’ Hartnett, is suing over claims he was caught on camera doing the nasty in a hotel library [Website – Amy Grindhouse].
Hairnett, who is in London at the mo’ rehearsing for his West End stage role in Rain Man, is taking legal action against the Daily Mirror for ‘defamation of character’.
He is seeking damages and a public apology.
Hairnett’s people said – in a slightly queeny fit of rage (not that there is anything wrong with that mind you… just saying):
“[The claims are] not only untrue but a complete fabrication,” according to his lawyers, they also labeled them “defamatory and unsubstantiated.”
Joshy baby… getting caught on camera doing something freaky/illegal is nothing to be ashamed of. Just a normal Friday night out ’round my way. You wanna chill out a bit love. Don’t really know about opinions in the US on this front, but here in the UK people kind of think you’re boring. At least we are talking about you and your play at all!

we’re talking about a talentless hack who’s sole memorable role was pretending not to jerk off for a month…of course he needed publicity.

As all eyes are now back on him, every hack with a blog/ column is slating him and his resume – saying the same thing, ‘mediocre actor with an uneven balance of blockbusters and indie flicks under his belt’.
While I’m relatively certain every blogger/columnist is in fact a hack (”oh look at me, look at me…i have my own little slice of the internet!”) , it’s highly likely if all of us are saying the same thing it’s probably true.
