Jon Gosselin: Reality Television Is Not A Career

Jon Gosselin took a stab at being the voice of reason in his family, because when Kate Gosselin’s reality show was cancelled her answer was to speak to People for a cover interview rather than look for a real job. The mother, spending her money on plastic surgery and busted weaves, whined in People about her uncertain future after Kate Plus Eight was dropped from TLC. ‘I’m freaking out. Big time,’ she said. ‘[The kids weren't ready to leave the show.] Nobody was. I’ve never quit a job in my life without having something else lined up. I don’t know what’s next… I told them I will work my fingers to the bone to make sure that they can stay here and go to their school. There are no guarantees in life for anyone, but they know that I’m giving it my best shot.’ Realising his ex-wife would soon run out of tummy tuck/ hair appointment/ new Audi money, Jon Gosselin spoke to RumorFix.com about his ex-wife’s delusion. ‘Reality TV is not a career. Get back to a normal life, a simple life. Provide for your family,’ he said. ‘Obviously there are families out there that have several kids. People work normal jobs and things work out. Everything is possible… I don’t have a farm on 24 acres [in Pennsylvania] and the kids seem to have a great time at my house.’
