Jessica Simpson’s first Weight Watchers commercial was farcical because she had obviously not lost the weight and she was only shown from the neck up. It’s months later and she’s reportedly pregnant with her second kid and so she’s back to wearing black and covering herself with layers, but at least she’s allowed to show her body in the second commercial. Here’s the video, in which she delivers aphorisms about ‘not being perfect’ and ‘only human’ which is glib, asinine, and meaningless and is apparently Simpson’s excuse for taking $4 million and only then admitting that she was surprised to learn that she would have to work for it because the 80-100 lbs baby weight didn’t fall out of her vagina when the kid did.
