I haven’t been feverishly covering the crap out of this story, like other bloggers, mainly because I actually like Sandra Bullock and it’s sad to see her go through this. But more so, I am not under the impression that whoring this story from every angle is going to save a small village full of children. It just isn’t. Rather than statements from either camp, or anything more than speculation from sources, there has been very little to say any relationship took place outside of the mind of the tattooed ‘ho mistress, with a tacky nickname. Today, we finally get actual confirmation. In the form of an official statement released to the media by Jesse James, the man who admits to cheating on Bullock.
The backlash on this has been pretty bad and James has been hounded by the press even when picking up his kids. He got so much abuse on Twitter that he had to close the account. The apology was released on People.com. The statement says that some of the allegations were untrue. However, he does admit wrongdoing and poor judgement. Which is more than some stars. James then asks for the forgiveness of Bullock and his kids for causing embarrassment.

Although he called “the vast majority” of allegations against him “untrue and unfounded,” he says in a statement provided to People: “There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me. It’s because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way. This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them. I am truly very sorry for the grief I have caused them. I hope one day they can find it in their hearts to forgive me.” [People]

Dude, this sucks. I really like Sandra Bullock. She deserves better than this…of course, I’ve always thought she can do better than Jesse James…like me, perhaps…lol
Seriously, though, hope this all gets worked out and they can both move on (even though the media will be latched on to this story until the next celeb infidelity scandal)
I agree, she probably should have had better taste in men. I also agree, people will keep milking this until the next guy gets caught cheating.
