Us Weekly Starts Jennifer Lopez Custody Battle

Specifically, Us Weekly started this because there is no custody battle. The tabloid makes a custody battle created in its creative fiction department this week’s cover. The gist: it’s assumed Marc Anthony is jealous and resentful that his estranged wife, Jennifer Lopez, is slumming with a man-child who’s been mistaken for her son, at least once, so Skeletor intends to punish her for slumming by challenging their custody agreement. The tabloid sources claim: ‘The pictures proved that her relationship with Casper was blossoming, and Marc couldn’t handle that. He has a bad temper, so it caused a huge blowup between him and Jennifer. [Marc is] going back on his word and saying he wants joint custody [rather than Lopez in primary custody, as is the current arrangement]. He wants to make Jennifer suffer because she’s having fun with someone new, and he knows this will hurt her at the deepest level. He is furious over it and filled with jealousy. He would do anything to break them up.’ Moreover: ‘The kids are not a priority to him… but Marc is nasty and knows that this is Jennifer’s weakness.’ Okay, there are some half-truths in there about Anthony being spiteful and controlling. We covered that already. However, this story comes from the pro-Lopez tabloid, Us. If you recall, Us Weekly got f**ked in the divorce exclusive to which Lopez agreed when Anthony went behind their backs and gave a premature statement to People. So, Us is biased and has an axe to grind. A source denies the cover story, telling GossipCop.com: ‘It’s all crap. [There's] no jealousy on Marc’s end. All he cares about is the well-being of his children.’
