Jennifer Connelly was shot for the cover wearing Balenciaga and she also gives an interview, for InStyle UK’s October 2009 issue.
I have such a soft spot for this girl. She is such a talented actress in sea of Megan Foxes. She still has me sprung from when I first saw her in Labyrinth, when I was a little kid, and also Requiem for a Dream, when I was older. Okay, have to be honest and say that she is part and parcel of the reason that I was an extremely disturbed child. Damn, Labyrinth messed with my tiny mind when I was a kid. Looking back at the movie now it’s obviously effing poor, but it was enough to screw with my mental state when I was in single digits.
The now 38-year-old (yes, 38, with that amazing face) spoke to InStyle UK about fashion, marriage and acting, in their exclusive October interview.
- On her casual go-to outfit: “A much-loved pair of old biker boots, figure-hugging jeans and an acid yellow T-shirt from American Apparel. I tend to recycle. I have Doc Martens I’ve had since I was 15 that I still wear. I have to retire them soon because they are falling apart.”
- On her British husband of nine years, actor Paul Bettany: “He is a really good person – he is funny, he’s smart and he’s kind. He will surrender without vanity or ego to the story, which I really admire.”

WORD. I think she’s awesome! GREAT looks (a little on the skinny side, but whatev), even better actress, and good taste in dudes. She was the only good thing about that lame Dark City movie.

she’s really 38? wow? doesn’t look a day over 32 (at the most). wish she would get those giant boobs back she had in the Rocketeer and her other early work before she went and got them reduced, though. those were thigns of beauty, just like her
hell, just think if she would have had them in the Hiulk. it might not have been such a picec of crap…not to mentionm cold have kept him satisied. no wider they repalced her with liv tyler…lol
