In case you were wondering, yes, this is the annoying “spinster” interview that has been quoted over the last few days. The actress is trying her hardest to convince her remaining fans that she is on the cat lady waiting list and before you know it she’ll be head-to-toe in knitwear, rocking back and forth dribbling about the days when she used to have a working reproductive system. She brings this on herself. She really does. For the record, I think she looks stunning in the photo spread (below). And, I think she would be a fierce crazy old cat lady.
- On being lonely: “I’m not going to ignore the pink elephant in the living room. It’s fine. I can take it. If I’m the emblem for ‘this is what it looks like to be the lonely girl getting on with her life,’ so be it.”
- On counting on her sense of humor to get her through tough times: “I remember being seven and asking my mom if I was as pretty as [my best friend] Monique. And with all the love in the world, my mom looked at me and said, ‘Oh, honey, you’re so funny.’ So, she doesn’t lie to me… She answers the question by not answering and instead tells me what she thinks is my greatest strength… I can make fun of myself. And I’ll bring it up as long as the world is bringing it up.”
- On supporting others: “I support women, men, anybody who is in a place that’s not their strongest and who is ready to push forward.”

someone plesae tell me how a woman that looks like that and appears to be such a total sweetheart can’t keep a guy. she should go with one of 2 options. a) let me show her what a real man can do…lol
b) turn to lesbianism…although, i don’t see her with one of those lesbo haircuts..ugh
I have no idea why she cannot keep a man. It’s odd. She should either go for gold or stay away all together – the former seems to make her seem desperate and needy (which I doubt is true).
