Actor Jason Bateman got the belated memo that it’s an asshat thing to do, to cut in front of 2,000 people for an iPhone 4 just because you’re an entitled celebrity who thinks that kind of thing is okay. TMZ and others were quick to snap photos of the actor being plucked from the line in front of an Apple store after being recognised by an employee. No idea why the memo took so long to get to him, it’s not as though he would really be under the impression as a grown man that cutting in is fine. Real iPhone fans will cut a bish for that kind of thing; his cluelessness aside, I’m amazed he made it out alive. Someone must have informed him of the backlash, which was prolly not even worth it as the phone is crappy and has serious signal problems according to technology blogs. He took to his @BatemanJason account to apologise. He’s sorry for being a prick. Well, he eventually got around to making an apology… not that this is much of one.
