January Jones doesn’t look constipated in this picture. Which is good. As she has spent the whole four series of Mad Men to date looking like she really needs some stool softener, a newspaper, and 30 minutes ‘alone time’. I jest. This is a classy commercial. One that has nothing to do with poo. Even if it were, it’d be classy and over-priced poo. Because that’s how capitalism works. Or something. Back to business: January Jones was recently announced as the new face of Versace’s Spring/ Summer 2011 advertising campaign. Donatella Versace described the actress’ campaign shoot as ‘deeply sensual’. And with a face of the finest leather, the designer should know. This 60s-styled advert, a preview of more to come, showing Jones completely naked, was shot by Mario Testino in London. She’s without clothes as her main role is advertising Versace accessories; ones she’s shot with include the brand’s bags, shoes, sunglasses and optical frames.
