Janet Jackson has revealed the new look to her upcoming album, due out 2010. I am at odds with this promotional photo. I want to like it, I really do, but I don’t know what on earth I’m looking at. [EDIT: PITNB states this promo pic isn’t a real promo pic at all… it’s a mash-up Photoshop creation that was fanmade.]
The album will be full of great pop hits that I’ll want to sing along to. But, really, is this going to be as ground-breaking as it needs to be in order to make a dent in the charts. I wish artists would really think and not release albums for album’s sake. Here’s hoping this is more than a one single wonder.
As well as the album, there is more work from Jackson in the pipeline.
Later this year, Janet will publish her first book, providing an intimate look at her life and how she has dealt with issues of self-esteem.
Janet will reveal aspects not known before about her uniquely successful career not only in music but in television and motion pictures. The next months and new year will also bring another film starring Janet as she joins Tyler Perry in his sequel, Why Did I Get Married Too, followed by a new album slated to released during the first quarter of 2010. Didn’t Rhianna do that ages ago in her Umbrella vid?
Oh yeah, I forgot about that, so, Janet is recycling from Rihanna now. Eeek.
what’s up with the paint? looks like she’s trying to be a fashiobnalbe version of “the Thinker”, but i’m with you, i don’t quite get it. maybe when the album actually comes out, it’ll make more sense.
…has her nose always been that pointy?
…I always though her nose and other altered facial features were odd. I don’t quite get why guys go quite so gaga over her.
She was one of my first music crushes. For me, its more about how she comes off as shy (in interviews and stuff)…and the killer abs…lol

It’s a fan made picture. They did an amazing job. Janet copied Rihanna PLEASEEEEE stop the nonsense SMH.
Welcome to the site and thanks for the comment Andre – as you could see at the time of leaving the comment, the post was updated already. So yes, we know the image was fanmade. I agree, it is well done. (Though it’s annoying when this kind of thing goes mainstream – it’s kind of a waste to actually post it.)
It seems no one copied anyone!
