Someone must have let Jamie Foxx know that he is an unusually talented musician, comedian and actor – the Oscar winner seems to have finally let his success go to his head [Website – Amy Grindhouse].
The star has taken it upon himself to take on the monumental challenge of playing US Pres-elect Barack Obama, saying he’d love to portray the politician on the big screen “Oh, I don’t know,” Foxx tells Usmagazine.com at the Declare Yourself event at the Renaissance Hotel in Washington, D.C. on Sunday. “[Barack]s going to do his own movie for the next four to eight years. It’s going to be incredible.”
The inspiration to take on the role stems from how Foxx feels the US public has picked up on the positivity in Obama’s message, ”He straightens us up, but he straightens us up cool, even when he walked out today,” Foxx tells Us. “Just the way he talks. He never gets excited, even when he was going back and forth with Senator McCain. He never raises his voice, he makes everything cool. That’s what changed about me. I want to be cool — I’m Barack right now.”
