Everyone and their mother got married this weekend; Alicia Keys married Swizz Beatz, T.I. married his girlfriend of nine yeas Tameka Cottle, Chelsea Clinton married Marc Mezvinsky, and Lisa Simpson was predicted to marry August 1, 2010 back on a 1995 episode of The Simpsons. That being said, and knowing he wouldn’t get airtime any other way, James Van Der Beek used his Twitter to make an announcement about getting married to girlfriend Kimberly Brook.
Van Der Beek and Brook had their weekend wedding late on Sunday August 1, 2010. Van Der Beek had announced his now wife’s pregnancy on Twitter, in April.
