I honestly would have forgotten about LeAnn Rimes jumping out of her own marriage and into someone else’s if she hadn’t decided to talk about it in every interview, write whole albums about it, and produce a damn television show about it. The same way we forget about other couples who got together under the same circumstances. People move on, people stop caring, people forget. Unless you don’t have a very compelling story otherwise and you NEED to keep talking about that time you slept with a married father-of-two. And so here we are and it’s time again for another pity party during which Rimes reminds you who the real victim was in the whole affair. Rimes appeared on Good Morning America and talked about writing her album, ‘I went through every emotion you can imagine in the last four and a half years and that’s what comes through,’ she said. ‘It was a roller coaster ride, as you can imagine.’ Pretending, once again, that she was gagged during any of this, she continues, ‘It finally felt like I ripped that tape off my mouth and had something to say. But at no one else’s expense but mine. This is just the truth.’ She added, ‘[It's] just life. I’ve approached everything I’m a human being. I have the right to share my happiness and my failures like everybody else.’ Here’s a clip of Rimes’ GMA interview.
