Today, a judge ruled that Pitbull’s horrible ‘rapping’ is protected under the first amendment because the forefathers would have appreciated a passive-aggressive bon mot about Lindsay Lohan. Back when she had money and a decent lawyer in 2011, Lohan sued Pitbull for using her name without permission in the song ‘Give Me Everything’ with the lyrics, ‘I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan.’ Which is true, so it’s not defamatory, and apparently it’s not trademark infringement or similar either. According to TMZ.com, a judge ruled that: ‘Lindsay is dead wrong on the law [alleging Pitbull had no right to profit off her name] because the song is a work of art protected by the 1st amendment plus Lindsay’s barely even mentioned in it. The judge also ruled Lindsay’s allegations that she suffered emotional distress are also BS. The case has been dismissed.’
