The annoying and oftentimes talentless reality star took to the stage in a 2000-and-late Britney Spears VMA cast-off flesh coloured top and pants, covered with crystals. The wife of Spencer Pratt appeared in order to perform her new single on NBC’s live broadcast of the 2009 Miss Universe Pageant at Atlantis on Paradise Island in the Bahamas on Sunday night.
The horror. Oh, the horror. Singing and dancing should be about rejoicing and enjoying the numbing effects of a good ditty. It should not be about swinging cats about in a bag and playing it on a loop under the guise of music. Real music should make you sway and clap your hands. It should not make you invoke the name of Our Lord in fear. Montag, when will you learn?

I’m so over Speidi that it’s ridiculous. I use to want to give her the benefit of the doubt but stopped short b/c of her constant attention whoring with her ‘husband.’ I can’t stand that sh*t. She’s guilty of it, as is Tila Tequila, as are a lot of those MTV/VH1 reality show contestants. Psshh…

The “dancing” is so awkward, I only got about 20 seconds in before I had to call it quits. At least Britney had the good manners to nail her VMA performance. It’s the polite thing to do. This girl is a follower with a weak voice. As you said… NEXT!

It was absolutely unappealing and boring but at least she wasn’t a complete train wreck (images of Britney on X Factor come to mind).

I would just like to say that Heidi\’s new song is pretty catchy. You guys need to giver her a break, she is breaking out as an artist.
So perhaps dancing is not her forte, but come on, do you HONESTLY think you can dance better on a state with the whole world watching.
Call it nerves, call it whatever, bottom line, I think she did great. She is no Britney or Christina, but then again who said she was? Either you like her or you do not, but do not hate her for some dumb reason.
Mark, it just seems odd that she would be thrust onto a stage, where even you as a fan admit she isn’t that prepared. I could not do much better, but then I don’t pretend to be a singer. If she can’t stand the heat, she should get out of the kitchen. If she’s so bad even people that like her think the performance was shakey, perhaps she would be better off in another field of work.

i really don’t give a damn what people think, the dancing was really damn good…and that’s where it pretty much ends…she’s obviously been prepping herself (plastic surgery, recognition, etc) for this moment, it really did pay off, except of course the lop synching, but who sings live anymore anyways? hehe
Fair opinion, you may like whomever you choose, we won’t make fun of you for it (well… at least, I wont). The above did nothing for me except scare the heck outta me. I found it a strain and have still not watched it in full!
