Heidi Montag has reportedly split up with husband Spencer Pratt, according to TMZ. The agency have confirmation from Montag’s rep, which is the only reason I’m acknowledging this mess. Seriously, didn’t they break up half-a-dozen times one Summer because they had a deal with Us magazine and pages to fill? Whatever. Don’t come slap me on Monday if they get back together. Just don’t.
Heidi’s rep tells TMZ, “Heidi is looking to move out due to all the fake bad press that Spencer controls. She’s tired of it and is looking for a place and wants to focus on her acting career.” We’re told Heidi, pictured in Malibu last Friday, is looking for a new place to live… in Malibu. [TMZ]
This goes some way to explaining a tweet from the reality starlet Tuesday May 25, 2010 in which she exclaimed she was Heidi Montag, not Heidi Pratt.

They were so in love but Spencer didn’t hold back on his crazy plus they were too young.
I was hoping they’d stay together cause the love was there, but their relationship was just too unhealthy. It will be interesting to see Heidi re-emerge as the person she used to be and get some of her friends back. Good for her.
I agree… totally. I think their love was real, but the “scandals” were fake.
Spencer is such a loose cannon, I’m amazed she put up with him this long. Yeah, new beginnings and some of her old gang back would be great for her. I hope they’ll be willing to give her a second chance, without him pulling her strings.
