Gwyneth Paltrow’s New Gym Is Struggling

SPL83343_014

Gwyneth Paltrow is having some trouble with a new fitness venture she is embarking on with her long-term trainer Tracy Anderson.

Paltrow is hoping to open up a swanky gym in NYC and later down the line, she is hoping to take the brand worldwide. One small problem. Taking a gym chain worldwide would probably require members and our beloved little Tofu doesn’t have any!

Word has it that her outlandish prices are putting people off or stopping people from signing up altogether.

According to reports from PerezHilton.com, Gwyneth’s new business venture is having a tough time getting members. Anderson herself and gym reps have reportedly been cold-calling people asking them to come in for a meeting.

“It’s ridiculous,” said a person who was contacted. “Membership is like $4,500 to join and then hundreds of dollars a month. Who can afford that right now?”

LOLs. Seriously people, this is not the time to be overcharging. That’s why I write for this blog free of charge and stopped charging people $5,000 per page to read it!

I love how in this photo, the site banner looks like it’s mounted from the lamppost and is actually part of the scenery.

Don’t care for GP, though… not at all, not at all.
