Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively has gotten ideas above her station. The 21-year-old actress has been complaining that being the star of her hit tween CW show is holding back her movie career. Yes, that’s right. Her movie career… the career no one even knew she had.
Rather than kneel down and kiss the floor of the Gossip Girl set and praise the overlords of the CW for keeping her in clean knickers (as I would do), Lively, who plays spoiled socialite Serena van der Woodsen, says that her filming conflicts with her chasing other opportunities.
“We shoot nine months out of the year, so there are so many films I can’t do,” Lively explains.
“On my latest movie I would go and take a day off from Gossip Girl in New York and go to Connecticut and shoot that and then come back the next day. And they don’t really like to share you.”

Someone has an ego? then again, she may think that ebcuse her parents are both actors she deserves it (even thogh the rest of us that aren’t tweens disagree)
Maybe she should cut her hair like Felicity did and the fans will revolt and the show will get cancelled and so will her career. Of course, this day and age, that might be interpreted as a good thing and the show will get higher ratingsd and cuase more spinoffs, then she’ll get an en even bigger head and go on to make a reality show and attempt to do music. Then she’ll bring about the apocolypse, all becuse her move career stalled…lol
OMG… you’re waiting for her ill-fated singing career too. I bet she prays at night for her own crappy spin off. So long as she keeps her ego in check, he may just get one.
