Before the arrival of Gisele Bundchen’s baby son, Benjamin, I joked that she would give birth to a ray of light with great cheekbones and a winning smile.
Seems that my drunken tomfoolery has come good. Once again. Bundchen herself confirms that her baby son is a little angel. I’m going to wilfully and blithely ignore all logic, and come to the conclusion that she means that literally. As well as mentioning her little angel, the supermodel also mentions that being a mother is a magical experience. Magical like mushrooms, duuuuuude. Where was I? Oh yeah, Bundchen shares some lovey-dovey experiences about motherhood and gives more detail than any stranger needs about her breastfeeding regime.
“In these first months, the baby breast-feeds twice in two hours or three times in three hours. It is really tiring, but it’s such a special moment that I am enjoying to the maximum,” the supermodel, 29, says in a new interview with Brazil’s Folha de Sao Paulo newspaper. “I have dedicated my days completely to him.” Bündchen, who calls her newborn son “a little angel,” says she’s been changed by becoming a parent. “To be a mother is a magical experience. The whole body is transformed by this,” she says. “It really is the miracle of life. I am really happy!” [People magazine]
