Girlicious Natalie Mejia Cocaine Arrest, Mugshot

Before you ask, yes, I care about this. For several weeks, when her show was on during 2008, I was bored enough to sit through her entire season of Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious. She was one of the girls who made the band, their debut music video being the one shown below as a reminder. Now we’ve gotten that “who? huh?” business over with, you may like to know that hot bish Natalie Mejia is facing possible cocaine charges after being arrested on Tues. March 9.

The singer may have been finding other ways to fill her time. She was caught, according to My Fox LA, as she was riding in a car stopped by a Glendale police officer. That officer found more than a dozen bags containing cocaine in her designer purse. I’m not going to make comments on whether I think she’s turned to dealing, as the reports don’t go into quite that much detail. But she was held for suspicion of possessing cocaine for sale or for distribution.

Mejia, 21, who was released in lieu of $30,000 bail and ordered to appear in court April 15, was booked on suspicion of possessing cocaine for sale, according to police and published reports.  The driver, Peter Asencio, 28, of Burbank, was arrested on the same charge, police said.  Police stopped the 1998 Ford Mustang near Victory Boulevard and Winchester Avenue, because Asencio was allegedly speeding.  Aside from Mejia, the other members of the singing group are Nichole Cordova and Chrystina Sayers. Girlicious, whose first album was released in Canada in 2008, was formed by Robin Antin, who also started the Pussycat Dolls. [My Fox LA]

The first single released by Mejia as part of Robin Antin-created Girlicious.
