Gary Coleman is dead at 42-years-old. The Diff’rent Strokes actor died as a result of head injuries he suffered, earlier this week. I… just… I can’t. I don’t even know what to say, at this point. Except: Jesus Fucking Christ. What the hell?
Gary Coleman was hospitalised in Utah; he was transported from his home in Utah to the hospital, at around 12:50PM, admitted Wednesday May 26, 2010. According to Coleman’s brother-in-law, the former child actor had suffered a head injury after a fall. That was 48 hours ago, during which time he had been on life support. Now he has been pronounced dead. His wife, Shannon Coleman, made the decision to withdraw his life support in the early hours of this morning. Family and friends surrounded him at that time. According to TMZ, Coleman died at 12:05PM MST, of an intracranial hemorrhage. Feb. 8, 1968 – May 28, 2010.
There will be a press conference at the hospital at 3:00 PM PT. A rep for Coleman released this statement: “Thanks to everyone for their well wishing and support during this tragic time. Now that Gary has passed, we know he will be missed because of all the love and support shown in the past couple of days. Gary is now at peace and his memory will be kept in the hearts of those who were entertained by him throughout the years.”
