Freida Pinto was not offered a role as a Bond Girl. Roll out the ever-growing list of stories like this I’ve ignored this year alone, as they pretty obviously weren’t true; that, and I remember the rumour being spread this time last year. Wasn’t true then. Isn’t true now. The actress, who garnered a lot of attention despite only pretty-ing up the latter part of Slumdog Millionaire, has spoken out via her rep. Her spokesperson tells India’s NDTV, “I would like to confirm that as of today, Freida Pinto has not been approached to be part of the next Bond film.”
