Thanks to reader Damage for tipping me off about this. It turns out readers of this site aren’t the only ones to notice the verve with which LeAnn Rimes is arranging exclusive photos with paparazzi for what one could deduce would be image rehab or a cut of the profit. I’ve been saying this for a while, as have you guys, and Rimes readily-admitted tipping off photographers in a recent interview with Chelsea Handler. Fox News spoke to a few sources who were all DUH! because it’s more common to see Rimes posing with an arched back, in a bikini, mouth agape and doing the mistress cackle, than it is to see her staging similar pictures exploiting her stepkids to make herself look like a good stepparent. An example of the latter, Rimes phoned paparazzi for a photo-op when dropping her stepson to soccer practice. She, her husband, the kid, and the paps arrived. The rest of the soccer team did not. Because Rimes gave paps the wrong time.
A source tells Fox News of the contrived, staged vow-renewing in Cabo San Lucas: ‘Those photographs came into all the magazines and websites fully captioned and saying, ‘LeAnn Rimes on a trip to renew her vows.’ There is no vow renewing in those pictures. There is no way the paps would have known she was doing that unless she specifically told them. Plus the paps just don’t get access like that in Cabo. They can’t get close enough to the celebrities without permission to get the quality of those photos. They were right next to her. There was no long lens. This was not intrusive in any way. This was a photo shoot.’ An In Touch editor adds: ‘More behind the scenes deals are brokered between photographers and stars than most people think… Attention-starved C- and D-listers are most well known for tipping off agencies. The paparazzi are as much puppets to some celebs as they are nuisances to others.’ Adds another editor, of Rimes being paid for the shots she’s setting up: ‘We see her in a bikini all the time. There is nothing news worthy about LeAnn Rimes frolicking on the beach so it isn’t a big money shot. It is the equivalent of Jennifer Garner walking down the street with a coffee or maybe just a little bit more. I would say they sell to magazines for $1,000 and to websites for $100 a piece. It is another reminder to anyone who will pay attention that she is happy and skinny and still married.’

This quote is the best part of the article. See everyone thinks Eddie and Leann are a joke(even those media outlets who have been known to cater to them), some media outlets(ie-HuffPo, Eonline, People mag, Dailymail, GG, x17, RO, CBS) are just too afraid to say something or they are being paid off. Surely Rizzoli and Isles doesn’t think that Eddie’s famewhoring during this Cabo trip will help them? The more people see of Eddie the more of a EWWW” factor he becomes and the less likely they are going to watch anything he is in.
Leann is trying to make this article disappear by flooding the internet with more stories about her vow renewal photos. It would be interesting to see what Fox News posts about Leann next week. Hopefully they won’t give in like Eonline and HuffPo and write fluff just to appease Leann. What made Fox News turn on Leann is the question?
In other news, Leann and Eddie are bad luck charms. It’s strange how something strange happens to anyone who associates with them. Tyler Perry had a studio fire. Khole and Lamar have been having some major problems ever since they started exchanging tweets with Leann. Rob Thomas had better run before it’s too late.
Jesus, what a crazy bitch. Eddie got exactly what he deserved. Too bad they stalk Brandi and try to co-opt her motherhood but it doesn’t even work. Nice job selling your kids for trips and cars, dumbass. And no amount of money LeAnn puts out will get her positive publicity, a husband with a job or buy Brandi’s sons. Hello, karma!
Just when you think that Leann couldn’t stoop any lower…Just like Leann uses her fans and staffmembers to attack Brandi or feed information to various media outlets, now Leann is using Guliana Rancic to do her dirty work(ie-using Fashion Police as a platform to support Leann and Eddie’s affair). So Leann thinks that she can make people stop calling her a homewrecker by having Guliana Rancic(who used to detest cheaters and call Leann out all the time about her affair with Eddie, that is until E News forced her to play nice with Leann) argue that Eddie was justified in cheating on Brandi because Brandi is “crazy”?
You would think that both Guliana Rancic and E News would think twice about Guliana making any statements concerning Brandi or Eddie’s affair, considering that there were so many headlines about how GR met with Leann over drinks, Leann gave an interview about how her news friend understand why she had an affair with Eddie, and of course Leann’s tweets to Guliana. Great move Leann, so who will Leann use to attack Brandi next? Kim K? Rob Thomas? Seriously this was the worst thing that Leann could have done because it was more than obvious that Guliana Rancic was acting on Leann’s behalf and was repeating what Leann told her about Brandi. The sad thing is that Guliana Rancic believed Leann’s version of why she had an affair with a married man.
So after calling Leann out for setting up staged photo-ops, Fox News has made amends to Leann by having Fox411 write not one, but two fluffpieces about Leann. In their first fluffpiece, they gushed over how “sexy” she looks in a black bikini and now for their second fluffpiece, they are posting about how Leann wants a pig and is now BFFs with Tori S. So just like E News, HuffPo, and many other sites they are now kissing Leann’s behind. I wonder if she paid them off or if she threatened them with legal action. I’m not shocked that Fox opted to kiss Leann’s behind though.
And in other news Leann is trying to force Brandi into submission by waging a major media war using Celebuzz(one of her fans feeds 3-4 stories to CeleBuzz/day, Giuliana, and Radaronline as weapons against Brandi. If Leann is content in her marriage to Eddie, why is she so focused on this media war against Brandi?
