The first photo from the new ‘Iron Man 2′ movie, starring Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, has just been released by USA Today.
I admit I was a late azz and was twittering about two weeks ago saying that I was totally stoked to be the last person on the face of the earth to watch this film. My ghetto movie outlets and I are firm acquaintances and I was so interested to find out what all the hype was about. I must say that I concur with everyone else who has seen the film and thought it was utterly bitchin’. Not quite what I expected, but it was full of strong and interesting characters and several pleasant surprises. I’ll try not to be such a slow poke this time and watch the sequel some time this decade.
The people at Rope of Silicon (via ONTD) are saying they expect Iron Man 2 to have a massive presence at Comic Con this year in San Diego just as it did in 2007, when it came out the obvious winner with the crowd at the convention. At that time it was a major underdog and a lesser known comic entity to general audiences at that time. The director Jon Favreau realizes it telling USA Today, “I really enjoyed when we were a dark horse and no one knew much about us. … I hope we can find that place again.”
Favreau, has been Twittering from the set about his experiences working on the movie.
“How many superheroes are open about their true identities?” Favreau asks. “We wanted to play with that idea. But it obviously has consequences — in his relationships, on the team. There are a lot of areas we can explore.”

I haven’t seen the first one, wonder if it’s any good?
It’s pretty good girl, not sure if it’s your thing, but it held my interest and I liked it. It’s a renter though, borrow it from a friend
