If there’s one thing I learned from watching the aftermath of Kristen Stewart cheating on Robert Pattinson, so publicly that it warranted a public apology, it’s that being cheated on gets some guys so hard they’ll never want to leave. Which I’m going to have to remember in my next relationship because I’ve obviously been making too big a deal about trust, love, respect, and monogamy in previous relationships. Similarly, Josh Duhamel cheated on Fergie and she’s still there, still being cheated on, allegedly, and she’s still explaining what part of infidelity makes their love ‘deeper’ or ‘stronger’ or whatever it is delusional people tell themselves instead of walking away from a messed up relationship. Asked about Duhamel f**king a stripper nine months into the marriage, Fergie said: ‘It was difficult.’ Asked whether being cheated on defined the marriage, she said: ‘Definitely. When you go through difficult times it really makes you stronger as a unit, as a partnership. It does for us anyway.
