The much-hyped Fame Kills tour, which was set to be a joint effort between Kanye West and Lady GaGa, has officially been cancelled.
Live Nation, the tour promoter, today announced that the tour was officially dead in the water, much to the disappointment of excited fans. No official reason has yet been given as to why. However, the backlash over West at the VMAs and his legal woes won’t have helped. Fans can get their tickets refunded automatically if they were purchased online or over the phone. Tickets bought other ways will need to be refunded at the point of purchase.
This was set to be one of the most mind-melting, controversial, and exciting tours in a long time. It was going to have all the arty-farty pomp and circumstance we have come to expect from Lady GaGa, plus the stunning visuals we’re used to from Kanye West after his Glow in the Dark tour. I can’t believe that I have to miss out on blogging about this. It was going to be super fun getting to share with everyone that West ran onstage during GaGa’s portion of the show to say that she deserved not to be onstage because, in his opinion, such-and-such an artist is actually more talented.
I’m going to go and drown my sorrows in some over-sugared Kool-Aid, and then I shall have a lukewarm Pot Noodle.You’ll have to do without me for a few hours.

It’s so ridic., they fell out, according to TMZ, over venue sizes and the ticket sales were poor anyway. People are blaming Kanye and his VMA fallout. It’s a shame this never got off the ground.
