Erin Andrews peeping tom video exclusive chat with Oprah on Friday Sept. 11.
Erin Andrews appeared on Oprah to discuss her nude peeping tom video.
The video, which was covertly taken when a peeping tom drilled holes in her wall when she was staying at a hotel, was released to the media. Some refused to release the naked footage, this includes TMZ.com who were among one of the first to be offered the footage.
The Erin Andrews peeping tom video became something people were curious to see. It was virtually impossible to pull from all of its online sources and still pictures are still available to download freely. The full video is also still freely available to download in many places online.
Despite the leak of the video occurring in mid-June, Andrews says the video ordeal was a nightmare and she feared it would ruin her career. May I mention, once again, she said all of this on Oprah. Well, yes, indeed. She was telling Oprah it was ruining her career.
“You know, people have a story that they have to cover,” she tells Oprah Winfrey in what she calls her “first and last” interview on the subject. “But I just felt like I was continuing to be victimized. I did nothing wrong.” Andrews, 31, recalls the first time she saw the video of herself changing her clothes without knowing that a camera was recording her every move. “It’s been a nightmare,” she says on The Oprah Winfrey Show which aired Friday, Sept. 11. “I opened up the computer [and] could feel my heart pounding.”
But the idea of getting back into her work is helping Andrews heal, she says. The sportscaster goes back on the air for ESPN this week. “I’m excited to get back to work,” she says. “I feel like it’s really going to help me heal my wounds, [and I'm] ready to get on the field.” (via People)
