The 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards took place this weekend. The ceremony, attended by everyone from the Glee cast to Al Pacino, who one can only assume got lost on his way to something more bada$$, was held at the JW Marriott in Los Angeles, CA at L.A. Live on August 29, 2010. The celebrity red carpet arrivals for the proper Emmys, not the Schmemmys as Kathy Griffin helpfully so-named the Creative Arts version of the same awards, are shown below in order and include; Lo Bosworth, Jane Lynch, Kelly Osbourne, Emily Deschanel, Kate Gosselin (yes, she attended a red carpet also walked by Pachino… you may throw yourself out of a window now), Tony Parker and Eva Longoria, Tina Fey, Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner, Lea Michele, Claire Danes, Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick (who were also lost, I assume), Sofia Vergara, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson (another one), Toni Collette, newlyweds Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, January Jones, Conan O’Brien, Mariska Hargitay, Dianna Agron, Christina Hendricks, Heidi Klum, Al Pacino, Mario Lopez, Angela Kinsey, Jimmy Fallon, Stephanie Pratt, Kathy Griffin, Rutina Wesley, Sam Trammell, Julie Benz, Naya Rivera, Heather Morris, Glenn Close (wearing strapless, ill-fitting BacoFoil), Wanda Sykes and Alex Sykes, Julia Louis Dreyfus, fathers-to-be David Burtka and Neil Patrick Harris, Jennifer Carpenter and a healthier-looking Michael C Hall (whose hair has grown back), Jenna Fischer, Amy Poehler, Dennis Quaid, Susan Sarandon, Matthew Fox, and newlyweds Emily Blunt and John Krasinski.
Oh, by the way, I was amazed I recognised so many of the people there this year. I usually don’t know anyone, but for a few A-listers. One can assume many of those were bribed away from places more interesting that night, amirite?
