Lindsay Lohan: ‘Elizabeth Taylor Was Drunk On Sets. I’ve Never Been Drunk On Set… Ever.’

Of course Lindsay Lohan decided to dance on Liz Taylor’s grave one more time before being thrown into whatever gilded corner of jail it is that is reserved for celebrities. In a new interview, she’s making more direct comparisons between herself and the late actress who cannot rebut these statements. Unless ‘the Black kid’ really said this in which case he’ll get his. Lohan tells Us Weekly Magazine that she’s less of a drunk than Liz Taylor and less of an addict than Marilyn Monroe: ‘Elizabeth was drunk on sets,’ says Lohan. ‘I’ve never been drunk on set, ever. I did my time and I respect the law.’ Which is probably true except for the part about Lohan never drinking on set when her (estranged) father claimed she drank and did drugs on the sets of Saturday Night Live and Liz & Dick. She would tell her 16-year-old self: ’Don’t drink and drive. And be careful who you surround yourself with.’ She continues ‘As hard as it was for me to admit it when I was in denial, [jail] was a blessing in disguise. I was in solitary confinement and I took the time to really get into the right head space… Marilyn Monroe went to an institution and said, ‘I may not belong here like the world thinks I do, but I might as well take what I can get here and use it and help other people,’ I think that’s what everyone should take from those experiences… I have it tattooed: LIVE WITHOUT REGRETS. I’m not saying I wanted to go to a jail cell, but I’ve drawn from all of it. [Without it I] wouldn’t be able to cry in scenes at the drop of a hat.’ Lastly, out of nowhere, she portends her future child’s recidivist crime spree coming to a mall/ high way near you in 2030: ‘Yes [I want kids]. I want to adopt a son.’
