DJ AM Gone Too Far MTV TV show documentary airs next week, sneak peek.
MTV, earlier this week, made the decision to go ahead and air the Gone Too Far show already filmed with the late DJ AM, who passed away in late August.
The show was filmed and was set to be promoted around the time the talented DJ died. There was much speculation over whether the network should or would allow the programme to be seen. I think, judging by the show’s premise, that airing is a good idea. It’s not the typical tacky reality show and the decision to allow people to see it doesn’t stink out loud of exploitation of his estate.
Gone Too Far, with DJ AM, is a documentary series in which interventions are staged in a bid to save young drug addicts. The first Gone Too Far episode is set to air Monday Oct. 12, 2009.
