Dina Lohan Offers Parenting Advice To Amanda Bynes’ Parents, Because What Could Go Wrong?

Dina Lohan remembered not to drink on her meds for her latest on-camera interview with Entertainment Tonight who appear to be her do-over for screwing up Uncle Phil’s interview. Uncle Phil, not a doctor, held his own as the annoying matriarch kept rambling about her fame, whether the cameras were on, and his outfit. And the interview did its job assuming the point was to absolve Lindsay Lohan of any responsibility for anything she’s done as an adult because she never stood a chance. So of course her own mother is giving (admittedly reluctant) parenting advice to the parents of Amanda Bynes. ‘You know, I’m a mother, and I feel that that’s for her mother to speak about, and not me, because people have spoken for my child and myself, so I really feel that’s for her parents to discuss and Amanda herself,’ said Dina Lohan, who continued with some advice, ‘Just be around… It’s hard when your daughter’s not, you know, over 18, and you want to let them go… and they want to, you know, feel like they’re in control of themselves. So it’s a very strategic place for a parent to be, but she’ll be ok.’ Asked whether she was drunk on Uncle Phil, she replied: ‘I was absolutely not under, intoxicated, or on any kind of medication. I was extremely upset.’
