Diablo Cody, real name Brook Busey, the 32-year-old screenwriter who has inflicted one too many terrible hipster teen movies on you, announced back in April on Twitter that she was pregnant. She took the opportunity, in the same series of tweets, to remind people that she’d been married since last Summer and so irritating reports about her ‘secret’ wedding were entirely unnecessary.
Cody announced on Twitter, in the early hours of this morning, that she was a mother after giving birth to her baby son with her husband of one year, Dan Maurio. The baby boy’s name is Marcello Daniel Maurio; according to his mother he was 7lbs, 2 oz, and lightly-mustachioed. Possibly the cutest description ever.
