Debbie Rowe, the biological mother of two of Michael Jackson’s children, has spoken to the News of the World and spilled the beans on her relationship with the singer. It would be far too easy to let the star rest in piece, and so to ensure that does not happen Rowe has gotten out her shovel and started diggin up ol’ sh*t.
The News of the World interview she did is long as heck, and you know I ain’t reading all that sh*t (I’d have to learn to read first). So, lemme break it down.
Just like one of the little kids who accused MJ of molestation, quickly came out of hiding to confess that they were lying all this time; Rowe came out and confessed that Paris and Prince were not MJ’s biological children. The logic of this will have escaped no one with two eyes and a grasp on genealogy. None of his kids, um, looked like him. So why she feels the need to drag his name through the mud is beyond me.
Oooh, yeah. NoTW paid her that thick dollar. She gave the following interview and screamed “thick money, dollar dollar bills y’all” intermittently.
- Prince, 12, and Paris, 11, are the result of artificially inseminated by an anonymous donor;
- Jackson never had sex with her throughout their marriage and parenthood;
- She offered to have babies for him after he told her that his first wife Lisa Marie Presley had refused to bear him any;
- The star arranged for a sham marriage to make them appear like a family;
- He cruelly ditched her when the painful second birth left her “all torn up inside” and unable to give him any more kids.
Rowe also says that she does not want custody of the children she gave birth to and expects never to have the tots darken her door. This means the two oldest face an uncertain future. Given their father’s recent passing a lot of people (quite unfairly) expected Rowe to step up to the plate. She’s too busy gum-flappin’ to raise those kids, so it looks like they’ll be with their grandparents for now.
This whole interview made me feel stabby, so I only skimmed it. The article is about 117 paragraphs long, so you gots to head NOTW.com to read the rest.
UPDATE: Rowe’s lawyers are claiming this interview is a fake. Also, I just clicked on the article link and the whole page has been pulled. Her attorney, Marta Almli told Radar Online, “The interview did not occur. The article is a complete fabrication.”

I really hope that he made sensible provisions for them in his will, and I hope that whatever judge winds up in charge of probating it (or whatever it’s called) doesn’t stand for a bunch of crap from the people who will inevitably want to challenge it.
That article quotes one guy – Paris and Prince Michael I’s godfather – as saying he’ll take care of them, and another person who claims Michael asked him to take care of Blanket (PMII). No one knows anything about the kids’ lives, of course, but I just can’t imagine it would be good for *anyone* to have them split up. And although they’re (technically) relatives, I would have MAJOR qualms about putting the kids in the hands of the grandparents – unless there is a LOT of oversight, I’d be afraid they’d wind up being abused and exploited the same way, or worse, that Michael and his siblings were in their own childhood/s.
I’m surprised but.. ?impressed? with Debbie Rowe’s position. I agree that it’s early for her to be giving tell-all interviews (assuming she did – I’m always a bit skeptical of the tabloids, and I don’t know NOTW well enough to know if they’re reliable or not), but on the other hand, I’m 100% certain that they hounded her for an interview, not the other way around. And if she’s as “isolated” as that article makes it seem she is, I’d be willing to bet she gave the interview as much for a way of processing her own feelings and having someone to talk to as anything else.
I also wish more people had the self-awareness and strength and integrity to say, “You know what, I’m just not good mother material” and stand back. Too many people in her position would either be blind to their own weaknesses, too ashamed or intimidated by society’s expectations to admit to them, or too greedy for a piece of the $$ pie, would push to be “The Mom,” and wind up destroying the kids’ lives even further. I have to give her credit for not succumbing to that, although I wish the kids could be older and better equipped to deal with that particular reality, before she went plastering it across the headlines. And even if the truth really is that she “never felt any attachment to them,” she didn’t have to SAY that, knowing that it’s bound to reach their ears sooner or later – it’d have been just as easy to say that she felt that MJ would be a better parent than she would and she wanted the best for them, etc.
And to wrap up this novella, I’m highly skeptical of the report that Chandler recanted his accusations; that article had no sources and I cannot IMAGINE that such an explosive admission would have bypassed all the other news/gossip outlets. I suspect it is true that the claims were basically just extortion (as bizarre and unwise and creepy as it was, MJ’s behavior/history just didn’t really fit the typical pedophile profile) – but I think that particular article is 100% fabricated.
(Sorry. I get too talkative when I haven’t slept properly.)
…having sleeping problems again honey. I know the feeling. Worked through the night and only got to sleep finally at 10am this morning. Sigh. About the article, well done for even getting through it. I never even made it to the end. Articles with people speaking ill of the dead makes me feel stabby.
Your instincts are right. The News of the World is kind of along the lines of a gutter press TMZ (in newspaper form). There is little they will not pay for and they are hardly credible. I think putting them in the care of one of their aunts or uncles may be better. It seems they are not even related to the baby of the siblings, but they should be together. I say aunts/ uncles over grandparents, as their parents must be in their 70s/ 80s. How on earth are they going to raise children.
The Chandler article did have a source (at the bottom “to read more…”) and was reported a few days ago by some. I heard about it via an urban site, Necole Bitchie, and admit I have no idea whether it’s real – it was very, very widely Twittered about and it spread virally on over the weekend. It was a Google trending topic, which means hundreds of thousand of people were searching about it.
Sleep better sugar. xoxo
Yeah, I hit that link at the Chandler article, but it didn’t take me to “more,” just to a blog with a handful of “MJ’s died” and “MJ’s legacy” type posts. Didn’t have anything more about that particular claim. (I even checked in the comments, thinking maybe that was where he’d made his confession.) Which added to my decision to to dismiss the whole thing as nothing but a traffic-booster.
Here’s a more “mainstream” article about it that cropped up immediately after I finished reading the one at NOTW.
Those poor kids. I just can’t imagine.
Aah, I see what you mean (forgive me, I think I misunderstood you). The link now appears to be dead – along with the one from the NoTW. Sigh. Thanks for the Yahoo link!
WTF?!? how could you not want your children? this is disgusting
…how much you wanna bet madonna and angelina are salivating at the idea that she doesn’t want them…hahaha
I am stuck on this as she has basically not spent any time with them at all. She has given birth but not been a mother for a decade. It cannot be easy to step into that mould and pretend to have maternal feelings that are clearly not there.
Debbie Rowe isn’t cut out for being a mom, even though she didn’t give an interview to the News of the World. The kids have been traumatized enough.
I think it may be a fake interview and her lawyers are chomping at the bit. The thing is though FC, this should go up there with Big Foot and the Loch Ness Monster in terms of the best hoaxes ever, as it is about 15-20 paragraphs or even longer. It’s like reading a damn book. That’s a heck of a lot of fake interview to sell. Lord.
And the mascara’s not even cold yet.
Hi Rain, today has been so damn ridiculous. Jeebus. I only published a handful of stories and even those needed updating to say half the sources are lie-telling m-effers. Feel so bad for friends of mine who are updating half-a-dozen posts to say all the information they worked on today was wrong.
You knew this would happen. And mind, you…it’s only just beginning. MJ draw much attention while he was alive. Now that he’s not around and nobody’s being paid to defend him, imagine. All hell is going to break loose.
Keep that finger ready (not the nose picking finger or the go fvck yourself one either).
Speaking of MJ…American Idol over here now. It’s a special edition in honor of MJ. Everyone’s rushing to express how much they loved him. Sad, innit? There was a time when he was the goat of everyone’s jokes and no one would walk too close to him for fear of getting the pederast cooties.
Now, we’re beginning to realize that MJ could have never done those horrible things he was accused of doing. Personally, never did think he was capable of harming anything, let alone a child. His natural mothering instinct was just too strong for that.
I’m exausted from even reading other people’s re-drafts. Lawd. I noticed that American Idol was a trending topic, but since it’s over, I assumed it was some retarded people who didn’t know that and were googling anyway.
Ooh. Before I forget.
I torrented an MJ video that was never really released here. “Earth Song”.
WOW!
My friend from London (a co-blogger on our blog) who’s studying here (Madoff School of Business) tells me that song was MJ’s biggest hit in the U.K. It was never released in the U.S. from what I know, but…
WOW!
Gonna go to back with him for two weeks just to rack up on releases that don’t make it here. And to puke on Eros in Piccadilly at 3 a.m. again (don’t ask).
…WOW. How in the heck was Earth Song never released in the US. Damn. Great find!
Seems she wants custody after all. Or just maybe a piece of the loot.
I think this Rowe girl is trying to fatten her bank account.
