David Letterman used his own show as a platform to admit the sexual affairs with female staff on his CBS show. The affairs were the twisted reason used to try to blackmail him out of $2 million.
One of the women, with whom he was said to have had an affair, was identified as Stephanie Birkitt. Letterman’s alleged blackmailer has been identified as Robert Joe Halderman, who has been arrested.
