Dane Cook booed over Vanessa Hudgens @ Teen Choice Awards 2009
As I don’t happen to be a teen and the awards are by no stretch representative of my choice to have all Disney actors rounded up and ceremoniously culled, I didn’t happen to watch the Teen Choice Awards 2009. They make me feel old and frankly I can watch Simpsons re-runs, realise I remember them from when they originally aired and get the same effect.
Well, the Awards were on the weekend and there were precisely two moments worth watching during the entire event, from what I can surmise.
The first is shown above and depicts a douchebag Dane Cook making fun of Vanessa Hudgens over those pictures of her nude. So effing stupid the way this was set up. Does Douche Cook actually get paid for this. His joke was so lame and easy that it actually made me feel sorry for the little prostitot he was picking on. Let’s put it this way… he could have done any number of things or made fun of someone even a smidgen closer to his age (what’s someone that old doing there anyway… he just comes off like a pedo bear hanging around people so young). Instead he limped toward a joke with a conclusion so obvious it could have been pulled from the script of Revenge of the Fallen or G.I. Joe.
“You got to keep your clothes on, girl!” Dane told V, in a mocking reference to her second nude photo scandal, which hit the Net when a crop of old images of the former High School Musical star leaked last week. He added, “Phones are for phonecalls, girl!” (via Pop Crunch)
The other moment of note is below and shows Miley Cyrus having her first orgasm as she introduces a suitably medicated Britney Spears. Methinks Spears’ frappe-drip is about to run low as she runs onstage, murmurs a few words and wobbles back off again – secure in the knowledge that she has been crowned Super Mega Ultra Pop Queen of the Universe – and no one can take that away from her. Cook is a degenerate excuse for a comedian, and my sentiment has nothing to do with this pitiful performance. You’re right- his appearing at TEEN choice Awards speaks volumes for the state of his career.
Thank heavens, someone who knows more about this douche than me agrees. What a tacky, easy pot shot. He could pick on someone his own gender at least. He not only looks like a prick, but a bully for picking on a young girl – being an older male.
I love it when bad things happen to that douche Dane Cook. He’s not funny, normally,but this was just pathetic. Now, had the same joke have been deliverd by Ricky Gervais or Russel Brand, it might have been funny. The accent does it…lol

I LOVE that nickname for her *mwah*… she deserves it, but he is too old at 37 or whatever to be picking on a kid/ making nude jokes at a tween award show.

I remember like 2 years ago everyone was talking about how horrible she was and everyone hated her and pretty much everyone was making fun of her, now they’re giving her awards for being the most searched person on the internet! whateva…

The Miley Cyrus clip is a big bag full of lols right. Sad thing is, with her tweeny cultural references, anything Britney did in 1999 when Miley was around five or six, probably is a “classic”. Le sigh.
